INTRODUCTION:
Foundation for Uganda Christian Youth Development Association [FUCYDA] was formed in 2001 by a group of concerned persons for enhancement of socio-economic development of the youth in Uganda. It is an indigenous non-government and non-partisan organization concerned with bringing out the very best in each youth. It was registered in 2002 as limited by guarantee without share capital and run by registered members.
VISION;
To built empowered self-reliant youths and women in communities that are actively involved in sustainable and participatory development of their communities.
MISSION;
To create a platform through which the youths and women can be strengthened and supported through advocacy, skills development, community networking, and partnership development through information exchange.
TARGET GROUPS;
FUCYDA is targeting mainly the youths and women. This through creating awareness, through formal and inform training and availing practical skills with the aim of tackling poverty problems and health problems e.g. HIV/AIDS and others.
